The manga Arachnid, started mid 2011, written by Murata
Shinya is about an orphaned girl, Alice, who witness her Uncle assassinated by
the assassin "Kumo", Kumo is Japanese for spider for all those
ignorant people :P. Alice is 'adopted' by Kumo and is entangled, excuse the
pun, into the world of The Organisation which is a mysterious organisation of
insect named assassins. As it progresses
Alice inherits Kumo’s Kumoito and fights against The Organisation which Kumo
sought to protect her from.

It’s good to see that the plot develops quickly and draws
the reader in quickly with the creativity of the plot along with its
uniqueness. Believe it or not but it also includes facts about the insects
Alice meets on which the assassins were named on due their similar
characteristics.

If you want to read this, I definitely recommend it to someone
who is into action type of genre or into mystery type things. On a side note it
contains some adult content so it’s best to avoid reading this in the workplace
or at school.

This seems like one of those cheap Sci-fi movies. Except it's not a movie, so it'd probably be very good. can you download the comic and use an e-reader?
This is hardly a Sci-Fi 'movie' it is set in a world similiar to ours, if not ours. Yes you can download apps, read online. I myself have yet to try an eReader.
